Story
You start your journey as a 10 year old boy who travels through the region of Sinnoh just like a platinum demake. However quickly after a few gyms a few hackers are introduced and the have some ASMagix skills to alter the timeline of Sinnoh. Stavros is portrayed as the villian, whilst Roddles is a junior hacker learning from Stavros but has a softer heart. Barry does not like Stavros and seeks out to stop him, only landing him in more trouble.You play the role of becoming champion of Sinnoh and restoring balance to the region whilst keeping Barry in line.

ReplyDeleteIf you've saved in game just reset to the title screen and load the older save. Which emulator are you using? Make sure to use plenty of save states when playing rom hacks.
DeleteI am using visual by emulator. How do I get back to the title screen. I have tried many different key combinations and it is still black. I don't know how to load an older save.
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming you mean VisualBoyAdvance (VBA). Control+R will reset to title screen. Otherwise simply open the ROM again (File->Open I think).
DeleteVBA has save states. Save by Shift+F1 and load the state by F1. (You can do the same thing with F2,F3...F10, so you have 10 save states + 1 in-game save.) Don't save now on the black screen, but make sure to use this frequently in the future.
It is just called visual boy emulator and the Control+R didn't do anything.
ReplyDeleteI have a Chromebook so the VisualBoyAdvance doesn't work on my computer.
ReplyDeleteOh. I have no experience with ChromeOS, but I've heard there aren't any decent emulators for it. I'm guessing you're using a browser-based emulator which autosaves. In that case, I don't think there is a solution..
DeleteHonestly, I wouldn't recommend using an emulator like that rom hacks, as you will often run into bugs and stuff.

ReplyDeleteTry the "GPEMU" emulator, it works on chromebooks although, as knuckle San said, it auto saves so everything you do is for keeps, you can't soft reset for legendaries and battles, but you can play the games. The biggest downside is if the game crashes, it will stay that way even when you close and reopen the game and if you delete and redownload the game too. If that happens your only hope is that the creator of the game updates it to another version ( for example, beta 1 to beta 2) then you could download the newer version from the beginning. Hope this helps because I have had similar problems.

Delete^ I don't think you need to actually wait for an update. Normally, saves are bound to the game via the name. So, simply renaming the ROM should allow you to start over. I think..
