Story


Welcome to the Borrius Region, a region rich in history. Many years ago the Borrius region fought a brutal war with the Kalos region. The people of the Borrius region summoned a dark force to help them defeat their enemies; however the war ended in defeat when the king of the Kalos region unleashed the ultimate weapon. With the war over, the dark force was sealed away never to be used again. However, many years later, an organization known simply as “The Shadows” seems bent on releasing the dark force once again. It’s up to you to stop them and save the Borrius region from ultimate destruction.

  • Challenging Puzzles: Put your brain to the test, and find ways to solve many of the unique and complex puzzles littered throughout Borrius!
  • A Rich Post-Game: Spend hours after the main campaign battling in Pokemon Unbound's battle facilities, completing Missions, mining in the KBT Expressway, catching Legendary Pokemon, and so much more!

Battle Tower Demo Info


Unlike the first demo, this version one does not contain any story-related gameplay. This demo is meant to showcase the new and improved battle engine, and as such, takes place entirely in the Battle Tower. However, this does not mean that gameplay time will be minimal. If you like battling, then you will find no shortage of things to do in this demo. With all the battle options included, there are over 100 different ways to battle (and thus over 100 different streaks to fight for). Additionally, this demo is set in the format of a mobile game. This means that when you start the demo you are given three random Pokemon to battle with, and as you battle and collect daily rewards, you'll be able to buy new and stronger Pokemon.

      The complete game will take some time. About the other thing, it would be possible to individually change each Pokemon's type but I'm not sure how. Maybe suggest your idea on Pokecommunity; lots of expert hackers there.

      Pokemon Adventures Red is pretty much bar none as far as storyline content and side quests goes. It's actually based off of the manga and the gameplay is amazing.
      Pokemon Glazed or Blazed Glazed is another super polished game with a lot of features and smooth gameplay. Storyline is original and feels almost like a legit Nintendo release.
      Pokemon Vega is a Fakemon game. Full of 100% unique and original Pokemon created by the hack team themselves. New challenges like learning Pokemons types, what moves they have, and how to beat them are reintroduced here rather than replaying with all the old familiar faces. The Fakemon are extremely well done and storyline is great as well.
      These are my current top 3, hope u find something u enjoy buddy. Welcome to the community and sorry for the long post lmao XD

      The saves have the same name as the game they load for, so you'll have to rename the saves to match the new version and they'll load as normal. There might even be an option to load a save from a file in some emulators. Usually the creator will mention if the previous version's saves will work- sometimes they won't and you have to start a new game.

    And since it is just a demo the bug's I came across will mostlikly be fixes cos zygard 10 procent sprite is messed up and the missing 7th gen moves to i's most likely fixed in the completed game when it is done :) :)

    Hey knuckles, for some reason It doesn't give me the cut scene of hoopa teleporting me. I already restarted the game it just cuts to the battle when you get out of the Shadow base. I even deleted the file and it still doesn't work.

      Oh, right. gpemu isn't the greatest for playing Pokemon hacks (I've heard), but I guess there aren't many options for ChromeOS.
      Are you able to reset to the title screen? From there, you could start a new game.
      If not, do try asking on the Pokecommunity thread linked above. The creator may be able to help, although I'm pretty sure it's an emulator issue.

    Looks decent, but it needs to be completed for me to have any interest, and I suspect a lot of people feel the same way. Too many ROM hacks release incomplete and then never end up being finished. If ROM hackers want people to play their work, then they should finish the project first. Seems like they just want undeserved attention for an unfinished project and outsourced bug testing.

      Between the two versions? Alpha 1.2.5 is the old 2 Gym demo that came out a couple years ago. The Battle Tower demo doesn't contain any story, but showcases the new "battle engine".

    Shit I lost my save with the event Hoopa, can I get it in the latest 1.2.0 battle tower version by changing the date to July 2019 or do I need to get the old update and change the date to get it then transfer the save to a new version to get the Snorlax and Arceus events by messing with the dates again? Or is Hoopa lost forever? :(:(:(

      Nevermind I patched my rom with 1.2.0, changed the date to July 2019 and got the Hoopa along with the Prisonbottle and it even had the items icon displayed when I received the gift which wasn't there in the older versions if I'm not wrong, then i set the date to August 2019 for the Snorlax and September 2019 for the shiny black Rayquaza 😍

      Not only that but I also found that there are future events already inside the game up to June 2020 🤪

      For those who don't mind getting the surprise spoiled the next events will be (in correct order):

      Mimikyu with Mimikium Z, Mewtwo with Y Mega Stone, Kelfki with Leftovers, Latios with Latiosite, Silvally with Fairy Memory, Xerneas with Power Herb, Shiny Haxorus with Draconium Z, Aegislash with Weak Policy and last a shiny Greninja with Waterium Z and Bond...

      I would recommend to start a new save in 1.2.0 with the date set to July 2019 then after getting Hoopa save and exit the game and keep going forward in time by 1 month up to June 2020 until you get all the gifts, however I wouldn't recommend to go back to our current date (September 2) because glitches might happen, and cheating is BAD!!!

      An enormous amount of work has gone into the FireRed upgrade shown in the BT demo; noone can say that the creator has been slacking off. True, that means that the storyline has been put on the back-burner, but it's a small inconvenience when so many other hacks will benefit from the upgrade.

The bug is when in the 92nd Match in Battle Tower (Multi Battle, No Restrictions), when the opponent just entered the room, the game crashed, although it may be because I was using 8x speed that time but it really unlikely.

      It might be an emulator specific issue. Not sure what you can do. If you have the option of changing the emulator save type, try changing it to Flash 128k.

      Basically you want to make a copy of your save file and rename it to match the new rom's name so it gets loaded when you play the new rom. There's a tutorial here.

    Skeli said that the main game will be released once it is completed. Meaning, the next release will be the full version. For now, Skeli, the devs, and the beta testers, are all clearing out the bugs and plan to do so before deciding to release the game. There is a big possibility that the game may not even be released until 2021, but that would be even better because as Skeli said, the longer he delays, the better updates . A beta tester named NecroticHelm will continuously update everyone here about Unbound so wait for he's news, have a good day to y'all!

      The Battle Frontier demo I think is self explanatory. The alpha is a traditional 2 Gym long demo but it is pretty old at this point and may not represent what the game will look like.
