ReplyDelete"One year after the original Pokemon Polka Aqua, take a journey like none before with a new continued story, new twists and turns, new characters, new features, new challenges, and even more. The game is now public, but since I will still fix any issues in the game, should the need occur, I am still calling it a beta, but it is for all intents and purposes the final version. Note that changes to Pokemon typings and evolution methods are listed on the game's website, along with a list of all available Pokémon. There is additionally a text-based walkthrough of the game's plot there, but note that it includes major spoilers for the game's plot."
Como evolui riolu ?

DeleteI'm fine with knuckle removing this comment for self advertising. This has nothing to do with this hack but . If any of you are good coders scripters or beta testers. Please join this discord group. We are trying to create a new hack!

I'm also fine with manza insulting me for this
DeleteJust a heads up - like the original Polka Aqua, this game is built on Ruby.
ReplyDeleteThanks, corrected.
DeleteHow far does it go?
ReplyDeleteThe game is completed - there is a post-game story arc after the main game.
Deletehey latios do you have a discord? also very excited to play your new game XD
ReplyDeleteApparently this hack has gen 8 Pokemon. Why isn't it included in the features list and how many of those Pokemon are included till now?
ReplyDeleteIn the features it says every generation, lol
DeleteThe following Gen 8 Pokemon are in the game:
Grookey, Thwackey, Rillaboom, Scorbunny, Raboot, Cinderace, Sobble, Drizzile, Inteleon, Wooloo, Dubwool, Yamper, Boltund, Toxel, Toxtricity (Amped), Galarian Zigzagoon, Galarian Linoone, Obstagoon, Galarian Corsola, Cursola, Sirfetch'd, Morpeko, Galarian Ponyta, Galarian, Rapidash, Zacian (Crowned Sword), Zamazenta (Crowned Shield), Eternatus, Calyrex, and Zarude.
There are also a few Pokemon from the GS Space World Beta:
Honoguma, Kurusu, Kotora, and Raitora.
Great game man!
DeleteThank you!
Deletedo you happen to also know where the key items are?
DeleteI having trouble locating the pokeblock case and coin case. Thanks for your help.
The Pokeblock Case is given to you in the San Francisco Contest Hall by a girl standing near the entrance inside. The Coin Case is traded to you in the Tree Hill Pokemon Center for a Lum Berry, which you can buy in the outdoor market in Miami.
DeleteThanks for the reply.
DeleteI got the coin case and will look for the poke block case later.
The hack is really well made and i certainly love how you increase the stats of the pokemons and the power of the moves. Though I'm currently stuck as I have no where to go. Can you like create a simple guide on how to progress on the story of the game?
Thanks a bunch. You hack rocks :)
These are the areas that are currently bolcked on my game;
Deleteto san francisco blocked
to eastwick block
to washington dc blocked
to philedelpia blocked
the route above scot house blocked
to fairview blocked
the route above starshollow blocked by squirtles
I can go as far as los angeles and thats it.
A simple guide of where to go and who to talk to, to progress on the game will be sincerely appreciated.
Thank you in advance :)
The game's story has a rather linear plot - which is why certain places are blocked off until when you get to them in the story. Once you get to Los Angeles, after reading the gym sign, you are able to go downstairs in the small building (of which Prof. Palm is/was standing in front) next to the giant building in the center of the city (the Hyperion Hotel). There is a full text guide on the game's website under the Plot & Features tab (https://latiosazurill.wixsite.com/pokemonpolkaaqua2), though beware of spoilers in case you read ahead.
DeleteThank you very much for the reply and for the guide. Ive been looking for this all over the place. Now I can continue playing. Thanksba lot mate. More hacks to come :)
Deletehey man, got a question.
DeleteHow to evolve scyther to scizzor?
Can find it on the evolution tab of the guide you provided
Any evolution methods that I changed are on the website. In this case, as is the case for most trade-based evolutions, it evolves at level 50.
DeleteYour games are amazing! Will you make a game with fakemon as well?
ReplyDeleteI most likely will not make a game with Fakemon, though this game does include four Pokemon from the GS Space World Demo and one Pokemon that isn't technically real.
DeleteDo you know how to get Sylveon in this game ? I really want her
ReplyDeleteTo get Sylveon, first you have to use a Reverse Stone on an Eevee. This will turn it into what I call a Transition Eevee. Afterward, use a Shiny Stone on it to evolve it into Sylveon.
DeleteGreat work on the hack man. Glad to see u included gen 8 as well. Good stuff!
DeleteMan what's your next project? Gonna keep it a secret?
ReplyDeleteI have started to work on another project, but I'm not sure if/when it will ever get done, so I'm not really ready to publicly announce it, lol
DeleteSorry, but how do you go on after the pier?
ReplyDeleteYou cannot get to New York (beyond the Squirtle) until later in the game. First, you have to beat the new Trainer's School in Stars Hollow, then face the gym in Riverdale. At that point, you can head to the right of Route 2 toward Tree Hill.
DeleteAfter the squirtle?
ReplyDeleteWhere to find the legendary Pokemon from Gen 8? :D
ReplyDeleteThey're available post-game. There are hints posted on the website for legendary Pokemon locations. For these ones, though, spoiler: they're in the Enchanted Forest. However, like a bunch of other legendaries, you cannot access them right away - you have to fulfill certain criteria to unlock them.
DeleteIs there a list with the location of normal pokemons? I only see hints for the legendaries on the site.
DeleteI didn't create a list of locations for all Pokemon in the game, though once you encounter a trainer with one, you can use the Pokedex to locate it in the wild.
DeleteOf course, if there is a particular Pokemon you wanted to find, I could tell you where to find it.
latiosazurill just asking is there no way to add correct cries even to a little handful of pokemon?
ReplyDeleteFor the Pokemon that were added in and have the cry of Unown, I have no control over their cries. As for other Pokemon, I don't really have sufficient software for dealing with messing with the audio. I tried an experiment with the music in Stars Hollow and Prof. Palm's Lab in Philadelphia, but while editing in later-gen Pokemon cries is not impossible, it was not something that I am presently able to do.
DeleteI have a straight question. I don't really read the dialogue but is Wally's ralts supposed to be shiny? Even if it is why did he give it to me? Also got a shiny piplup while grinding. So just askin is the shiny chance increased?
ReplyDeleteOh it says increased shiny odds. Well how much is it increased?
DeleteYou might have some difficulty understanding what's going on in the game if you don't read the dialogue, lol
DeleteWally's intention was to show you how to catch a Pokemon (he already had a Ralts that he caught at the beginning of the original Pokemon Polka Aqua).
That's why he decides to give you the one he catches in this game.
Ahh that's great. The piplup was my first legit shiny. But the shiny chance is increased so...
DeleteAnyway what do I do after going to Miami? I can't seem to go anywhere!
You can head to Tree Hill above Route 7. I posted a text-based guide for the game on the game's website, though beware of spoilers if you want to use that.
DeleteHey LatiosAzuril, don't know if you already answered this buuut, do you have a Discord Server for this game ???
ReplyDeleteIf yes, then can you leave the link to it in reply,
Thanks, love this games of yours.
Does this game require as much grinding as the first?
ReplyDeleteNever mind. Got my answer half an hour in. I appreciate the work that goes into crafting the stories behind these games but the level curve, type changing, new abilities, buffs to stats and moves are all done with no discernible logic behind them. I like a challenge but these games are largely just not fun, they feel more like work than play.
DeleteFair enough - I would never stand between someone and their opinion. The level curve itself is actually fairly linear, though. The type changes and buffs were made to give certain lesser-used Pokemon more versatility while still leaving the more rarer Pokemon powerful. The trainers in the game were, for the most part, set to max AI. The boss battle teams were developed to be a challenge, which is why beating them often takes either a direct strategy for the battle (or unnecessary grinding to be overleveled). The increased exp yield from battles is intended to make grinding less necessary. Some of the type changes, and even ability changes, may be a bit questionable, but they were intended to add a new spin to the Pokemon or reference a certain quality or specific appearance by the Pokemon. When I started to work on my first rom hack, someone complained to me about Pokemon games, saying they were not worth playing because they were way too easy - one of my goals since then was to prove that they didn't have to be - perhaps I swung the pendulum too far in the other direction, though.
DeleteAfter reading the sign outside Woodsboro gym, I head towards building outside which Prof. Palm was standing. After entring inside, the strairs were blocked by a big boulder. I am stuck now. I have followed your guide step by step. But presence of boulder is not mentioned. Please help.
ReplyDeleteRead the sign in front of the Los Angeles Gym - then try going into that small building again (the boulder should be gone at that point).
DeleteGot it...Thanks :)
DeleteI have a problem... WHY Wally!has a shiny
DeleteOh wait nvm I got his shiny ralts
ReplyDeleteUhm is there anything to do in Miami?
ReplyDeleteThere is not a whole lot to do in Miami during the main game - you can get the Axe from the Seashore House on Route 8 and buy a Lum Berry from the outdoor market to trade for the Coin Case in Tree Hill if you want, though
